Sports Mouthguards

Almost every sport increases the vulnerability of the mouth to contact. Eyes and teeth are organs that are sometimes damaged playing sports. Safety glasses and mouthguards almost eliminate the potential hazard from energetic contact. Professional athletes can be seen on TV wearing them. That is a great example of their need.

With the newer material mouthguards can be made thinner,more decorative, and safer. It is very smart to wear one, protecting the teeth. Tooth fracture can be painful and repairing them can be expensive and often permanently damaging.

Be wise and wear a mouthguard.
